For coaches
Eight pages written for the person choosing this, not for a search engine. No gated PDFs and no demo call in the way.
Cost per athlete
Every published price in the category divided by the roster cap it buys, then divided again by a roster of thirty. The order reverses, and the vendor that looks cheapest is not.
What the category costs
Published prices for TeamBuildr, Hevy Coach, PLT4M and EatSleepRep side by side, where the difference actually bites, and where the bigger platforms are still the right call.
Choosing for a high school
The constraints nobody puts on a feature page: mixed phones, summer, subs, and the parent who asks what the app collects. Five questions worth asking a vendor.
What "free" actually means
Trial, free tier and free-for-athletes are three different things. Which is which, and what you can run a team on without paying anyone.
Volt's two price sheets
The same plan, the same roster cap and the same feature list cost $900 on Volt's high school page and $1,200 on its college page. Both sheets, and where the tier caps catch a growing roster.
When nobody lists a price
BridgeAthletic, Teamworks and PLT4M will not tell you what they cost without a call. What that costs you, and the five questions that turn a demo into a quote.
What "plans start at $500" leaves out
PLT4M publishes a floor and nothing else: no tiers above it, no roster cap, no ceiling. Why a starting price is the hardest kind of number to put on a budget.
The assistant coach bill
TrainHeroic charges $9.99 a month for every assistant coach on top of the athlete tier. What a head coach with three assistants pays before a single athlete is counted.

The short version, if you are only here once
EatSleepRep is a food, sleep and training log that a coach can point at a whole roster. Athletes log three things a day on any phone; you assign sessions to a calendar, post team rules and meal plans, and see who is doing the work. Team plans start at $249 a year for up to thirty athletes and the athletes themselves never pay on any plan.
Two things it deliberately does not do. It does not rank anybody by bodyweight or body fat, anywhere, because a board of teenagers sorted by weight causes harm before it wins games. And it does not police your team rules: post what you expect and athletes see it, but the app never tracks, verifies or reports on it.
It is also new. The first teams are joining now, which is worth knowing before you move a program onto it, and worth knowing if you would rather be early and shape it.
Or just look at the product
The coach page covers what the console does. The movement library is open with no account, and the one-sheet is the whole thing on a single page if you need to show an athletic director.
Try it with one team
Make a team, put this week's sessions up, and text the join code to your athletes. Nothing to install for you, no card to start, and if it is not for you the team deletes in one click and every athlete keeps their own log.
Prices and plan details for other products were read from each vendor's own pricing page on 25 August 2026 and are quoted as published. They change; check before you buy. EatSleepRep's own prices are on the product page.
