EAT/SLEEP/REP

What it costs

The basics are free and stay free. That is not a launch promotion — it is the reason the product exists, and it is worth explaining rather than just claiming.

Why it is shaped this way

The biggest tracker on earth put its barcode scanner behind a paywall and filled the rest with advertising. Scanning a tin of beans is not a premium feature. It is the thing the app is for.

So the loop is free: log food, log sleep, log training, keep your chain, use the movement library and the prebuilt sessions, export everything you have ever logged as a CSV whenever you want. No ads, ever, and your training data is not for sale to anybody.

For you

Free
$0
forever, no card
  • The whole daily loop
  • Barcode scanner and food database
  • Workout logging, plate math, rest timer, PRs
  • Your chain and history
  • 30 movements and 32 prebuilt sessions
  • CSV export of everything
Pro

Free is not a stripped tier. The barcode scanner, the movement library, the calculators and the USDA macro reference are all open, and the reference does not need an account at all.

Cancel any time from the app. Nothing you logged is taken away if you stop paying — you keep your whole history and the free loop keeps working.

For a team

The program pays and the athletes never do, on any plan. A cost that lands on a sixteen-year-old removes a third of your roster, and it is never a random third.

Squad
$249
a year, or $29 a month · up to 30 athletes
  • $8.30 per athlete per year
  • One team, one coach
Program
$599
a year, or $69 a month · up to 100 athletes
  • $5.99 per athlete per year
  • Most high school programs land here
School
$1,299
a year, or $149 a month · up to 400 athletes
  • $3.25 per athlete per year
  • Pay by card or bank transfer against a PO

Every athlete on a paid roster gets the full app, Pro features included, free. If they leave the team they keep every rep they logged.

How that compares with what else is on the market, with each vendor's published prices, is on the cost comparison page. The rest of the for-coaches guides cover the vendors that will not publish a price at all, the per-assistant-coach charge that catches programs with a staff, and what "free" means when each vendor uses the word.

For personal trainers

The coach console is free once three or more of your clients hold their own paid accounts. Your clients are already paying for the product; charging you as well to look at their numbers would be charging twice for the same thing. Below three clients it is also free — three is simply the point at which it is guaranteed.

The honest bits

QuestionAnswer
Is there a trial clock on the team plans? No. Build the team, assign sessions and use the console before any card is involved.
What happens if I stop paying for a team? The roster view stops. Every athlete keeps their own account, their history and the free loop.
Do you sell my data? No. Not to advertisers, not to insurers, not to anybody. It is not a business we are in.
Can I get my data out?Any time, as a CSV, from inside the app. You can also delete your whole account yourself.
